How it works
Screen time measured around real foreground sessions
Tiny Vow primarily uses Android usage events to build foreground Activity sessions. The home screen, app limits, points, archives, and reports share that session-based approach so the same period is explained consistently across the app.
An app can belong to more than one group. Group details keep each group perspective, while device totals and top-app views deduplicate packages so the same app is not counted twice.
An app blocker designed as a mindful interruption
When a Vow group passes its effective allowance, Tiny Vow shows a full-screen limit page with the group and progress that led to it. The language is deliberately clear without shame, rankings, or punishment.
When there is a genuine short-term need, existing reward inventory can provide extra time, a period pass, or an emergency unlock. Usage and history remain recorded; a period pass skips over-limit prompts for its period rather than erasing activity.
Sensitive access has a narrow purpose
Usage access calculates foreground time, limits, reports, points, and reminders. Accessibility is used only after you enable blocking, to recognize foreground app changes and show the limit screen.
Tiny Vow does not use Accessibility to read screen text, capture input, click for you, or change system settings. Core groups, limits, and usage history stay on the device by default.
